3 Things – It’s okay to not be okay

Oct 12, 2022

Thought: October is Mental Health Awareness month. I’m glad we have a month to shine a light on this important topic, however, every day should be mental health awareness day if you ask me. We’ve all been through a challenging couple of years and every single person on this planet should feel okay seeking the help they need. Life is hard and the ability to “take out the trash” when you need to is a crucial life skill.

Quote: “Vulnerability sounds like truth and feels like courage. Truth and courage aren’t always comfortable, but they’re never weakness.” — Brené Brown

Calls to Action:

  1. How are you doing when it comes to your mental health? If you’re struggling, you’re not alone. It’s okay to not be okay. Can you seek the help you need even if talking to friend or family member about it?
  2. Can you reach out to someone and ask how they’re doing? That simple act can change someone’s life – don’t underestimate the power you might have to help someone.

Have a great rest of your week!
